This series centered around Ann Romano, a recently divorced mother of two, who lives in Indianapolis with her two daughters, Julie and Barbara. Most episodes centered around Ann trying to raise two headstrong daughters and have a career at the same time. As the years went by, the girls grew up, got married and started families of their own. Julie married Max Horvath in 1979 and a few years later, in 1982, Barbara married Mark Royer.
