Quantum Leap
Time waits for no man... except Sam Beckett. Quantum Leap is a time travel science fiction television program about Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) who leads an elite group of scientists into the desert in New Mexico to help develop a top secret project called "Quantum Leap". Pressured into proving results, or lose funding, Sam prematurely steps into the accelerator even though it is not ready and even though Gooshie (Dennis Wolfberg) warns against it. Gooshie calls Rear Admiral Albert "Al" Calavicci (Dean Stockwell) who gets there as quick as he can, but before he gets there Sam leaps. He awakes to find himself as another person, who he has to help in order to leap. Sam finds himself bouncing around in time, helping others to put right what once went wrong. His best friend and mentor, Al, is at hand along with Gooshie and Ziggy, a supercomputer, to help him succeed in his missions and hope that the next leap, will be the leap home.
