Passions  

Passions is an American television soap opera. Veteran soap opera writer James E. Reilly created the program, which debuted on NBC on July 5, 1999, and has been airing in the afternoons on NBC. Passions follows the various romantic and supernatural adventures of the residents of Harmony, a fictional New England Hamlet. The show's theme song Breathe, is sung by Jane French. Lyrics: I would hold the hand of the one who could lead me places And kiss the lips of the one who could sing so sweet And I would fly on the wings Of the bird I knew could take me higher Breathe in, breathe out you keep me alive You are the fire burning inside of me. You are my passion for life. After being canceled on NBC early in 2007, Passions moved to DirecTV's network The 101 on September 17, 2007.
