Dark Justice  

Nicholas "Nick" Marshall is a young, but respected judge who has made himself a name. He was once a defender, however, his trust in law and order was shaken when his wife and daughter were killed by a car bomb which was actually intended for him, and the criminals get away with impunity. Determined to bring the culprits to court and to hunt other criminals as well, Nick is now leading a double life. If he must allow a criminal to go free even though he knows that he is guilty, he tells him that "indeed, justice is sometimes blind, but it can also see in the darkness". The criminals are normally deaf to his speech and do not mind, in their arrogance, such words. By night Nick Marshall removes his glasses, lets his long, black, and usually tied together, hair fall loose, he puts on his leather jacket and rides a motorcycle on his gangster's hunt. His assistants are former forger Moon, the Special Effects expert Gibs and the nice Cat. When Cat is killed in a gunfire exchange, former Interpol agent Maria joins the team. From second season on Kelly Cochrane arrives to work as Nick's new assistant. The private secretary appeared in the episode "Bump In The Night" and since then he began to fence in corrupt policemen so she can can prove their guilt in court. From now on she cooperates with Nick.
