Stardate: 41463.9 The Enterprise is sent to investigate strange occurrences on a planet being terraformed by a Federation science team. Although the planet was designated as being lifeless by the Federation, recent events there raise questions about if this is really true, especially after the strange death of one of the science team members.

The crew must find out if the scientist was murdered by one of his team members, or could there be another explanation.
