Air Crash Investigation - Hanging by a Thread Season 3 Episode 5

Aloha Airlines flight 243 heading from Hilo to Honolulu (Hawaii). Plane: Boeing 737-200
On April 28, 1988, during the flight, the plane suddenly experiences an explosive decompression just behind the cockpit. The explosion inflicted great damage to the plane, and the cockpit is almost "hanging by a thread". The only thing that keeps it attached to the plane is the airplane's floor. After the decompression the passengers aren't sure if the pilots are alive, but luckily they are. In this episode are explored the causes for this decompression and what the crew did to keep the plane flying and land it safely.
