Twenty years ago, Shawn and Gus witnessed a woman end her life via a leap from the window of the Wispy Sunny Pines mental institution. The ghost of "Scary Sherry" continued to haunt the abandoned facility. Now, twenty years later, another girl has met the same untimely demise, falling from the exact same window. The other sorority sisters are convinced that her ghost is haunting their sorority house, so Juliet calls upon the help of Shawn and Gus. She will need Shawn's psychic abilities to read the house and to figure out how to stop the hauntings.

Lassiter, meanwhile, has been temporarily reassigned. He must take a rookie detective, Goochberg, under his wing. Despite his initial tolerance, her adamant and amateur ways will no doubt try his patience.
