As a free man, Xanatos tries to make amends by donating the Eye of Odin to the Museum of Modern Art. However, in that very same night, a Gargoyle-like creature steals it. Right when the creature is about to flee, Matt Bluestone, Elisa's new partner, shots it and both hear a metallic noise and see how the bullet bounces off. An enraged Goliath goes after Xanatos and accuses him of trying to frame his Clan. Xanatos offers him protection in a biological testing laboratory.
