The Night Travelers, a traveling show that takes the moisture and essence of their captive audiences, are released from their captivity and begin to leave dehydrated victims in comas. Torchwood attempts to retrieve the essences held captive, but with the remaining Travelers on the verge of freedom, will they be able to save every life?
